ElectraLink launches CodeNavigator for SMICoP

ElectraLink is pleased to announce that from today we are making the Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice (SMICoP) accessible in a digital format through CodeNavigator – a web-based tool that will introduce greater efficiency to code management and make it easier for Code Members to ensure compliance. ElectraLink is the UK’s first energy code manager to introduce this innovation to the market.

ElectraLink publishes June 2019 switching figures

ElectraLink’s switching data from June 2019, published today, shows that a total of 443,000 switches were completed last month, down 9.5% from May 2019 and 7% from June last year. This brings the number of switches for the year so far to 3,054,000 – just under 13% more than the same six-month period in 2018.

ElectraLink publishes May 2019 switching figures

May 2019 switching figures from ElectraLink published today reveal that the spike in switching activity that dominated March and April 2019 levelled out last month. Switches in May 2019 totalled 489,000, 0.2% more than May 2018’s total of 488,000 switches, but 37% less than April 2019’s record-breaking 669,000 switches.

FlowBuilder case study

In late 2018, ElectraLink launched FlowBuilder, a solution for our Data Transfer Service (DTS) Users. FlowBuilder helps DTS Users design, amend, test and share message templates that can be loaded onto the DTS, allowing swift upgrading and testing in systems in time for catalogue changes and new industry requirements.
