On 20th May, ElectraLink presented Flexr: the new energy data sharing service, which we will bring to you in partnership with the GB Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). This webinar was the second in our spring series, and it builds on the call for responses to our consultation on Flexr issued on April 23rd, 2020.
With Flexr, ElectraLink will be leveraging over 20 years of experience in the delivery of data transfer, data integration, data management services, and innovation to facilitate the energy market transition by lowering the bar for all competition in the flexibility space. But what does this mean, and how can we achieve it?
As the electricity industry moves towards becoming part of a decarbonised, interlinked “whole” energy system, the provision of transparent data between all market-participants becomes increasingly important. This presents an ideal opportunity to bring about change to unlock energy system data to ensure an open, level playing field for the flexibility market.
