This role is full-time, permanent position located in our Central London or Nottingham office with an annual salary up to £60,000 DOE, including 10% variable bonus and an excellent benefits package. Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Assurance Analyst within the ElectraLink Governance Services team to provide audit expertise and consultancy of new and existing services. Reporting to the Senior Business Consultant, the role will be responsible for undertaking assurance activities in relation to existing service contracts, and for recommending, creating, and testing both bespoke and industry risk and assurance frameworks for clients.


Overall responsibility will be for delivering ElectraLink’s Governance Service Team’s audit and assurance activities and business partnering with internal colleagues across multiple service lines.

The successful candidate will provide assurance expertise for ElectraLink’s Third Party Intermediary (TPI) and Application Programming Interface (API) products. External client assignments will be supported, and the successful candidate will be required to review client policies, controls, processes, and to produce gap analysis and reports. This could cover a wide range of processes across regulatory and legal compliance frameworks, including data validation. There will be a need to develop process maps, recommend key controls, and assist clients in developing internal audit controls, where relevant.

Other responsibilities will include policy drafting, developing risk frameworks, undertaking data privacy impact assessments and data governance, providing data assurance, and the candidate will need to have a flexible approach across a breadth of assignments. There will also be opportunities to expand the role through the development of new assurance offerings.

Skills & Knowledge

Key Skills:

  • Qualified auditor (ACCA, ACA) with at least three years’ experience
  • Experience in providing external audit services
  • Experience working across multiple assignment and service lines
  • Prior experience working for an organisation providing assurance and audit services
  • Ability to develop risk frameworks and design data assurance frameworks
  • Knowledge of data security and GDPR
  • Confident and articulate with ability to write reports, policies, and to present to senior stakeholders
  • Flexibility to travel to client locations if required.

  • Energy experience
  • Sales experience
