ElectraLink has announced it has won a contract to assist the Gas Safety Trust (GST), CORGI Services Limited (CORGI) and Gas Industry Safety Group (GISG) to improve health and safety and awareness of gas safety among industry and consumers. ElectraLink will be providing management, lobbying and finance support services.
Operating at the heart of the gas market GST, CORGI and GISG will receive support from the energy market central body, as they continue to navigate change and to improve standards in the sector.
ElectraLink already delivers a number of code management and collective IT services to the energy market including:
- The Data Transfer Service (DTS)
- The Supply Point Administration Agreement (SPAA),
- The Distribution and Use of System Agreement (DCUSA),
- The Meter Asset Management Code of Practice (MAMCoP);
- The Distribution Charging Methodologies Development Group (DCMDG),
- The Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice (SMICoP) and
- The Theft Risk Assessment Service (TRAS).
These services underpin the operation and drive the evolution of the electricity and gas markets in the UK.

GST, CORGI and GISG will be operated from ElectraLink’s offices in central London providing a flexible base for a dedicated services team.
