ElectraLink is pleased to announce it is now working with joint venture Dudgeon Offshore Wind Ltd, developer of Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm, located off the coast of the seaside town of Cromer in North Norfolk.  The project is due to be completed by the end of the year and will power more than 410,000 homes with renewable energy. Dudgeon Offshore Wind Ltd. is a joint venture by Statoil, Statkraft and Masdar. Statoil and Statkraft are leading Norwegian energy companies while international renewable energy investor, Masdar, is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.  The Contracts for Difference (CFD) Generator, which will support EMR Settlements, is the first of its kind to connect to ElectraLink’s Data Transfer Service (DTS), joining over two hundred existing DTS users which already consist of suppliers, distributors and meter agents. Connection to a secure and established infrastructure and network, alongside access to data is essential for all market participants including those in the renewables sector, which is growing significantly during a period of significant change.
