| Following confirmation that Ofgem will implement the Gas Theft Detection Scheme, ElectraLink will be administering it on behalf of SPAA. This means that there will now be an incentive scheme in the UK for suppliers to detect and investigate gas theft. Rules which are part of the gas licence and already in place ensure energy companies play an active role in detecting, investigating and preventing the theft of gas. Our involvement in the initiative aligns with TRAS, where we were appointed as the dual fuel energy Project and Procurement Manager, and we continue to play a leading role in its successful delivery.
