Consulting Methodology

Our professional services specialists apply a proven four-step approach to ensure success:

  1. ENGAGE. Our first step focuses on understanding the underlying business and commercial background of our client and establishing key concepts. We aim to reach a shared understanding of the challenges ahead while developing enduring and effective working relationships.
  2. DEFINE.  The second step is to crystallise and clarify issues by formulating hypotheses around what exactly is required. During this phase our specialists will typically workshop ideas with the client to explore the types of change required and outcomes sought.
  3. ENVISION. We will articulate and evaluate alternatives and start to plan for implementation through drafting changes proposals and action plans. Action planning requires imagination and creativity, as well as a rigorous and systematic approach to identify and explore feasible alternatives.
  4. COMMIT. This stage requires a joint commitment to the actions and resources that will be needed to bring about the desired change. By drawing on the knowledge and trust levels developed by our advisors during each engagement, this stage is a test for the relevance and feasibility of the proposals developed in collaboration with the client. It is during this final stage that we see the changes proposed start turning into reality.
