Back in 2008, ElectraLink produced a White Paper to stimulate industry debate by outlining the case for a range of common, industry scale functions, referred to as the Smart Interoperability PortalTM. The provision of common functions will minimise the overall costs and risks of a UK wide smart metering roll out, and improve the quality of data and processes benefiting all stakeholders.
