ElectraLink was founded to fulfil the need to provide a common interoperability layer to the retail electricity market following deregulation in 1998. Since that time, ElectraLink has managed an increasing volume of data between participants both as part of the Data Transfer Service and more recently through other data services as the company has expanded its commercial activities.

ElectraLink has established a reputation for service excellence and value for money in provision of market leading data management and secretarial and administration services to governance bodies in UK Gas and Electricity markets. Provision of these services demonstrates ElectraLink’s ability to facilitate cross-industry governance arrangements, bringing market participants together and managing industry change.
 

ElectraLink provides services to both Supply Point Administration Agreement Ltd (SPAA) and Distribution Connection and Use of System Agreement Ltd (DCUSA).
